That hat I made

So last week I made myself a cat hat. I'm still learning how to size hats, this is my 2nd one and it is also too big. I needed to size my needle down but by then I was finished. My other mistake was watching 2 different YouTube videos with 2 different methods and attempt to combine them together. Here's how it turned out. 

I managed to tighten up the brim but its more like a hood. Of course I'm obsessed with it. I feel like a Super Mario character lol. 

If you want to try your luck with a crochet cat hat here are the videos I watched. I would strongly advise to use one or the other.
