Cheap Girl Holiday Gift Ideas

Just checking in with you guys, the week is moving along quickly and we are getting closer and closer to the holidays. I have been going back and forth with myself and trying to figure out what I am going to get my loved ones. Since my wallet is slim. And yes the holidays aren’t about gifts and how much you can spend on someone. It is about family and friends, being slightly nicer then you’ve been all year and if you’re a Christian the birth of Jesus.

In my, Time the Space and The Grace era, like I say in every episode I’m trying to be patient with myself and not feel bad when my dollar does not go as far as it used to. I know times have changed and things cost way more then they used to. So I decided to try my luck at the dollar stores and see what I can get that’s cute, heartfelt and won’t break the bank. Here’s what I found:

Five below has some sleeper gifts. They have stepped up their game since the last time I've been in there. They have cute games and stocking staffers.

Dollar tree is always a swing by. It may be messy sometimes depending on which store you go to. But I've found myself getting caught up in the cute gift boxes they have. I'm still fan of the mailboxes.

I also suggest the baked goods route. I'm not a top teir baker but I have improved over the years and Google is literally at your finger tips. Find a simple recipe that you can follow and dress it up nicely. Instant gifts.

I think thats a step up from macaroni, glue and glitter but not super lavish and won’t break the bank. I know they will love the gifts regardless. Even if I did show up with glitter and construction paper. Don’t be too hard on yourself even if the gifts are a simple “I love you” and a hug you made it and that’s all that matters.
