Not Down With The Sickness

Yall, I don’t like being sick. This is the 2^nd time this year. Granted I haven’t been out the house this much since 2019 but its still annoying. I did get my flu shot but these colds are awful. You never appreciate the use of your nose more then when you are unable to breath out of it. This cold is better then the last one. I feel unwell but not sickly. Mostly a runny nose and a slight cough. I do have the hand sanitizer on deck and I am debating getting a mask again.

I may have to get back into that, I know we were all “ready to get back to normal” but spreading preventable diseases should not have been what we wanted to get back too. Think about when we were in school, if one student was sick all the students were sick and the teacher. Why were masks not a thing? I know why, because adults are stuck in their ways, but reason and logic should be a factor.

I still think that if Covid was a messier virus like yellow fever or Ebola I think people may have taken it a bit more seriously. I also blame leadership at the time. Team orange just wants to sit and break things. We shall see how term 2 goes.
